6 to 8 Years Relevant Experience
We are looking for a skilled Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in UFT (Unified Functional Testing) and automation framework development. The ideal candidate should have the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions, write and maintain automated test scripts, and work directly with customers in a collaborative Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and convert business requirements into technical designs and test cases.
- Develop, modify, and execute automation test scripts as per the project schedule.
- Create, enhance, and execute automated test scripts on both new and existing builds.
- Collaborate directly with customers and cross-functional teams.
- Lead test projects through all phases of SDLC/STLC, from planning to delivery.
- Provide documentation, reporting, and defect tracking as required.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience in UFT (Unified Functional Testing).
- Proficiency in VBScript or equivalent object-oriented scripting language.
- Experience with automation framework coding and maintenance.
- Good understanding and hands-on experience in API testing (preferred).
- Knowledge in Object-Oriented Design and programming principles.
- Experience working in Agile project implementations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to changing environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects through completion.
Desirable Skills:
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Experience with ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) tools.
