We are seeking a highly skilled Telecom Engineering & Administration Lead to oversee and support our telecom infrastructure, with a primary focus on Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE), Unified Communications (UC) platforms, and other Cisco communication technologies. This role involves leading day-to-day operations, ensuring system performance, and providing strategic technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the administration and optimization of Cisco UCCE and Unified Communications platforms for high availability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and manage complex issues across Cisco communication systems, including voice, video, and contact center technologies.
- Provide hands-on telecom support for incidents, service requests, and system disruptions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (networking, IT support) to resolve telecom-related issues and ensure smooth system integrations.
- Manage system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance for Cisco UCCE/UC platforms.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including runbooks, architecture diagrams, and troubleshooting guides.
- Enforce security policies and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in telecom engineering and operations.
- Monitor system performance and drive capacity planning and optimization strategies.
- Stay updated with emerging Cisco technologies and telecom trends to recommend continuous improvements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing and supporting Cisco UCCE, CUCM, Unity, and related technologies.
- Deep knowledge of voice, video, and contact center systems, especially in Cisco environments.
- Strong hands-on experience in telecom system troubleshooting, performance tuning, and monitoring.
- Understanding of telecom security protocols and best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
- Experience with system integration, upgrades, and maintenance in production environments.
