Role Overview
Responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and supporting technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform. Provided administration, application development, and platform maintenance using best practices and modern web programming techniques to deliver robust solutions across ITSM, CSM, and ESM modules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designed and developed ServiceNow applications and modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Request, and Service Catalog.
  • Built and maintained Service Portal components and Customer Service Management features.
  • Created custom catalog items, forms, workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and UI actions.
  • Developed and maintained integrations using REST/SOAP web services and scripted APIs.
  • Configured and customized ServiceNow using JavaScript, Script Includes, Glide APIs, UI Pages, UI Macros, and Jelly scripting.
  • Implemented and supported ServiceNow SSO using SAML and LDAP/Active Directory integrations.
  • Managed ServiceNow system upgrades, clone activities, and instance management.
  • Developed KB articles and user documentation for new and enhanced platform features.
  • Participated in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, story refinement, and sprint reviews.
  • Conducted end-user training and internal workshops for key ServiceNow features.

Platform & Tools Expertise

  • ServiceNow ITSM, CSM, Service Portal, and Workspaces.
  • ServiceNow Discovery, Orchestration, and CMDB.
  • Web Technologies: JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON.
  • Scripting Languages: JavaScript (ServiceNow), Python, Unix Shell, Windows PowerShell.
  • Databases: MySQL, Oracle.
  • Authentication: SSO, LDAP, OIDC, OAuth2.
  • Tools: Visual Studio Code, Postman, Git.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Engineering.
  • Certified ServiceNow System Administrator.
  • Certified ServiceNow Application Developer (preferred).
  • Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist (preferred).
  • ITIL v3/v4 Foundation Certification or equivalent hands-on experience.

Skills & Competencies

  • Over 5 years of hands-on experience working with enterprise ITSM solutions.
  • Over 3 years of ServiceNow-specific development and platform implementation.
  • Strong understanding of ITSM and ITIL best practices.
  • Proven experience in system integration, custom module development, and automation.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions.
  • Experience working in Agile and fast-paced environments with multi-disciplinary teams.
