Job Descritpion of Service now Developer
6–8 Years Relevant Experience
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules, primarily focusing on ITSM.
- Create and configure Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, and Workflows.
- Build custom applications and configure portal widgets (Service Portal).
- Develop integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and custom integrations.
- Participate in version upgrades, clone management, and patching activities.
- Optimize performance and scalability of ServiceNow instances.
- Participate in testing, QA, and production deployment activities.
- Work on ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Platform Analytics.
- Design, develop, and integrate Virtual Agent solutions, improving performance, user engagement, and resolution rates.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and administration.
- Strong experience in core ITSM modules.
- Proficient in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and App Engine Studio.
- Solid knowledge of Access Control Rules (ACLs), UI Policies, and Data Policies.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Mandatory.
Preferred Skills & Certifications
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in ITSM.
- Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Knowledge of other ServiceNow modules such as OT, ITOM, HAM Pro, IRM, etc.
