6+ Years Relevant Experience
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Workday Cross-Functional Analyst to join our team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying functional workflows and custom integrations within the Workday ecosystem to meet our organization’s business needs.
The ideal candidate will have strong configuration experience across at least three (3) Workday modules and advanced technical expertise in Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Production Support
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Workday-related issues.
- Research and address system errors, unexpected results, and process flaws.
- Recommend solutions or alternative approaches to meet business requirements.
System Maintenance
- Review, test, and implement Workday upgrades and patches.
- Coordinate updates and fixes with functional and technical teams.
Integration Design & Development
- Create and maintain custom integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST).
- Align integration design with business requirements and compliance standards.
Reporting & Data Management
- Build and maintain Workday reports and dashboards.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular audits and queries.
Testing & Deployment
- Perform unit, system, and end-to-end testing of integrations before release.
- Validate performance and functionality in production.
Integration Maintenance
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize existing integrations.
- Adapt integrations to meet evolving business needs.
Documentation
- Maintain technical documentation, including integration designs, test scripts, and troubleshooting guides.
Compliance & Security
- Ensure all processes and integrations comply with data security and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver effective Workday solutions.
Required Experience & Skills
Workday Functional Expertise
- Minimum 5 years configuring at least five of the following modules: HCM, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent/Performance, Payroll, Advanced Compensation, Absence, Security, Learning.
Workday Integration Expertise
- Minimum 5 years with Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, and Workday Web Services.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST, and related integration technologies.
HR Business Process Knowledge
- Strong understanding of HR processes and HRIS change management in large organizations.
Problem-Solving
- Proven track record in diagnosing and resolving integration and system issues.
Project Management
- Experience handling multiple integrations and working in cross-functional project teams.
Communication Skills
- Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
