6 to 8 Years Relevant Experience
We are seeking a skilled SAP MM (Materials Management) Consultant to join our dynamic SAP team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in analyzing business requirements, implementing scalable SAP MM solutions, and providing strategic and technical leadership. A strong understanding of integration with other SAP modules and S/4HANA or Fiori experience is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business requirements and propose effective SAP MM solutions aligned with project goals.
- Participate in solution planning and strategy development for SAP MM implementations.
- Provide technical and functional guidance to the project team during the implementation lifecycle.
- Develop and customize SAP MM solutions as per design documents and client requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive functional and technical documentation, including configuration, test cases, and user guides.
- Proactively report project issues, risks, and challenges to stakeholders and suggest mitigation strategies.
- Support cross-module integration, particularly with SAP SD, FI, and WM.
- Collaborate with portal development teams, architects, business analysts, and other IT stakeholders.
- Ensure solution quality through methodical testing and validation processes.
- Contribute to SAP change requests, enhancements, and support activities.
- Assist in project estimation and planning by providing technical inputs and feasibility assessments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in SAP MM module configuration and implementation.
- Solid understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes and inventory management.
- Experience in SAP customization, including pricing procedures, release strategies, automatic account determination, etc.
- Proficiency in preparing design documents, blueprint documents, and test scripts.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and within cross-functional project teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a structured, process-oriented approach to testing and solution validation.
Preferred/Additional Skills:
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori apps.
- Experience collaborating with recruitment teams or HR modules is a plus.
- Knowledge of integration points between MM and other SAP modules (FI, SD, WM, PP).
- Basic understanding of ABAP debugging for issue tracing is an advantage.
