We are seeking a highly skilled Rubrik Cloud Backup and Recovery Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise-scale data protection solutions using the Rubrik Enterprise Data Protection Suite. This role requires a strong foundation in backup infrastructure, NAS environments, API integration, and cyber resiliency. The ideal candidate will be a self-driven team player with strong technical expertise and excellent communication skills, capable of working in high-velocity, agile environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership in the installation, configuration, and management of enterprise storage devices, filers, and backup appliances.
• Deploy and support Rubrik Enterprise Data Protection Suite, ensuring data availability, integrity, and recovery across complex environments.
• Lead efforts in Rubrik CDM to RSC migrations, cluster upgrades, capacity planning, and lifecycle management.
• Design, test, document, and implement backup and disaster recovery (DR) strategies, including ransomware mitigation and remediation.
• Promote and deliver specialized backup and storage solutions aligned with customer and business needs.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Integrate with enterprise systems via REST and GraphQL APIs for intelligent automation and seamless data flow.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments, driving innovation and continuous improvement.
• Manage and protect a wide range of enterprise workloads, including SAPHANA, Kubernetes, Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, VMware vSphere, and Active Directory.
• Analyze customer requirements and assist with functional and technical specifications for enterprise backup projects.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• Extensive hands-on experience with Rubrik Enterprise Data Protection Suite.
• Strong background in enterprise NAS platforms in high-availability, mission-critical environments.
• Experience with:
  • Rubrik CDM to RSC migrations
  • Rubrik Cluster lifecycle management and upgrades
  • Ransomware defense and disaster recovery using Rubrik
  • Rubrik capacity management
• Solid knowledge of cyber resiliency and cybersecurity as applied to backup infrastructure.
• Proven experience with API integration (REST/GraphQL) for enterprise automation.
• Hands-on experience integrating Rubrik with platforms like MuleSoft, ServiceNow, Splunk.
• Strong working knowledge of Agile frameworks and modern DevOps practices.
• Experience in managing enterprise workloads including:
  • SAPHANA, Kubernetes, Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL
  • VMware vSphere, Active Directory

Desirable Skills:

• Familiarity with VMware, general storage administration, and automation tools.
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure and networking, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of cloud data protection architectures and hybrid cloud integrations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
