Job Descritpion of Polarion senior Developer

6 to 8 Years Relevant Experience

We are seeking a skilled Polarion ALM Developer to support and enhance our Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) environment. The ideal candidate will be experienced in Polarion customization, scripting, integration, and performance optimization, with a strong understanding of ALM best practices and requirements engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

Customize and extend Polarion ALM to meet evolving project and organizational needs.
Develop scripts and extensions using Velocity and Java/XML to tailor Polarion functionalities.
Create and maintain integrations between Polarion and other ALM tools using REST/SOAP APIs.
Support variant management processes and ensure traceability across requirements, test cases, and change sets.
Optimize Polarion performance through efficient scripting, data structuring, and troubleshooting.
Develop and enhance custom UI elements and reporting dashboards using HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
Collaborate with engineering and QA teams to align Polarion usage with ALM best practices.

Required Technical Skills:

Advanced knowledge of Polarion ALM (both user-level and development/customization experience).
Velocity scripting for Polarion customizations.
Java/XML for extension and plugin development.
REST/SOAP APIs for system integration.
HTML/CSS/JavaScript for UI customization and reporting.
Familiarity with ALM methodologies, variant/configuration management, and requirements engineering.
