Job Descritpion of MuleSoft Ops/Support Engineer
6–8 Years of Relevant Experience
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in MuleSoft Runtime Manager, CloudHub, On-Prem Runtime, and API Gateway
- Familiarity with log analysis tools (Splunk, Kibana), monitoring tools, and Anypoint Monitoring
- Strong understanding of integration logs, thread dumps, memory leaks, and runtime issues
- Experience with Unix/Linux scripting, file transfers, and middleware connectivity
- Knowledge of MUnit, CI/CD pipelines, and supporting automated deployment pipelines
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 operational support for MuleSoft applications and integrations in production and non-prod environments
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to API failures, connectivity, performance, and deployment
- Analyze logs from Anypoint Monitoring, CloudHub, or On-Prem Runtimes to identify root causes
- Perform regular health checks, incident management, problem management, and service request handling
- Ensure platform stability, availability, and capacity monitoring
- Coordinate with developers, infra, and security teams during incidents and releases
- Support scheduled deployments, hotfixes, and environment refreshes
- Maintain documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base articles for repeat issues and procedures
- Ensure compliance with change management and incident tracking tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- ITIL certification or familiarity with ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management)
- Exposure to MuleSoft Anypoint Platform administration and user/role management
- MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect/Developer (optional but good to have)
