We are seeking a skilled professional with hands-on experience in architecting and designing Ignition SCADA systems. This role involves developing scalable SCADA architectures, scripting with Python, and integrating Ignition with databases and manufacturing systems. Preferred candidates will hold Ignition Gold Certification and possess a strong understanding of control systems within manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Understand project requirements to architect and implement Ignition SCADA using core or authorized third-party modules.
2. Design SCADA/control systems including tag providers, databases, and interfaces using Ignition Edge/Enterprise and Ignition Foundation drivers.
3. Lead the development of data analytics, reporting dashboards, and scripting using Python (and optionally VB).
4. Analyze technical and operational constraints to create robust development and commissioning plans.
5. Engage in client interactions for requirement gathering, enhancement discussions, and support.
6. Collaborate with and lead offshore teams on detailed design and project activities.
7. Understand back-end infrastructure in manufacturing: compute hardware, virtualization, OS, networks, databases, etc. (a plus).

Must-Have Skills:

• Hands-on experience in designing and architecting Ignition SCADA systems.
• Expertise in Python scripting within the Ignition platform.
• Experience with Ignition Edge, Enterprise modules, and tag providers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Ignition Gold Certification.
• Experience in the manufacturing domain.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
