About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Google Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize cloud-based data solutions on GCP. This role involves end-to-end ownership of data architecture, development, and delivery, with opportunities to grow into a Cloud Data Architect position.
Must-Have Skills
- 5+ years of overall experience in GCP, Python, and SQL.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in designing and implementing cloud data services (Google Spanner, BigQuery, SQL).
- Strong background in data service design, build, and configuration.
- Proven expertise in Python and SQL for large-scale data solutions.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Google Cloud certification (preferred).
Responsibilities
- Design, build, configure, and optimize data services on GCP.
- Develop and deliver technical documentation and artifacts (e.g., Software Design Documentation).
- Perform unit testing to validate functionality and performance.
- Define and design data architectures to support scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with operations, technology teams, and stakeholders to ensure efficient project delivery.

Project Details
This role is part of a TCS Cloud Data Engineering team. The Lead Developer will plan, execute, and finalize solutions related to new and existing products, modules, and services. You will coordinate across operations and technology teams, ensuring structured execution of complex, project-based processes to increase efficiency, improve service delivery, and enhance client satisfaction.
