Job Descritpion of GE Smallworld Web Developer
5+ Years Relevant Experience
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Collect requirements from the customer.
- Participate in solution design, implementation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users.
- Develop web applications using GSS, Java, and open-source technologies.
- Integrate the GE Smallworld system with other systems through REST APIs using GSS.
- Handle data update services through external systems.
- Knowledge of data migration from different legacy systems to Smallworld.
- Document standard operating procedures and prepare presentations for client discussions.
Technical / Functional Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Smallworld Product Suite and layered products.
- Good understanding of Smallworld 5.x architecture and Mobile Enterprise Suite.
- Experience in web application development using GSS and Java.
- Familiarity with OSS and BSS system integrations.
