Provide day to day operational support for the Firewall Management Service.
Responsible for the design, planning, implementation, and operation of firewall setups and management.
Your role involves resolving operational incidents, managing firewall security policies and rule sets, and ensuring compliance with business and regulatory requirements.
Expert level knowledge of Fault Management like Identify and Classify Fault, Investigate and Diagnose Fault and Provide Fault resolution.
Should have very good experience of software patch management to manage the Firewall patch management cycle, patch testing and deployment of patches on timely basis.
Candidate should have knowledge of backup and restoration for configuration as per defined backup and restoration policy.
Create various reports for remediation, change tracking and on demand basis.
Initial firewall/IPS testing of parameters, operation, support and commissioning.
Knowledge of Analysis of IPSec VPNs implementation and Manage and Monitor all VPN connectivity.
Maintaining and administering perimeter security systems such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
Support client with Firewall Management related questions including those related to remediation procedures.
Co-ordinate with 3rd party vendors for Network Hardware replacement Core level debugging.
Analyzing, troubleshooting and correcting network problems.
Adhere to change control/management process.
Network Security KPIs & Reporting Metrics on Weekly/Monthly bases.
