6 to 8 Years Relevant Experience
We are looking for a highly skilled Firewall Engineer with strong expertise in firewall migration and hands-on device management. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience working with Palo Alto, and other major firewall technologies, and must be capable of handling deployment, troubleshooting, and migration in production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end firewall migrations, especially to Palo Alto Networks.
- Perform hands-on deployment, configuration, policy management, and troubleshooting of firewalls.
- Lead and execute migrations from Cisco ASA, Fortigate, and CheckPoint to Palo Alto.
- Provide support for production environments, ensuring minimal disruption during migration.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams in a customer-facing capacity.
- Ensure compliance with network security standards and best practices.
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of dedicated experience in firewall and migration projects
- Expert-level proficiency in Palo Alto Networks firewall (installation, policy, management, migration).
- Experience with Cisco ASA, Fortigate, and CheckPoint firewalls.
- Proven track record of firewall migration projects from legacy systems to Palo Alto.
- Solid understanding of network security concepts and protocols.
- Experience working in customer-facing roles or managing production environments.
