6 to 8 Years Relevant Experience
We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Testing Engineer to support the development and validation of motion control testing systems. This role involves hands-on system integration, performance evaluation, control algorithm programming, and multidisciplinary collaboration across electrical, mechanical, and control domains. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in closed-loop control systems, motion control, and system modeling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute lab experiments for motion system validation.
- Perform system hardware integration, including sensor and actuator setup.
- Develop and implement motion control algorithms in a high-level motion controller programming language.
- Define performance specifications and create acceptance test procedures.
- Conduct system-level performance testing, analyze results, and generate detailed test reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on control design, hardware selection, and system optimization.
- Support the development of robust, automated control systems for manufacturing and validation.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Hands-on experience in motion system tuning using closed-loop feedback control.
- Proficient in motion controller programming languages.
- Experience in defining acceptance test procedures and performance validation protocols.
- Strong foundation in system-level design with a multidisciplinary perspective.
- Understanding of robust control system design, including component and sensor selection.
- Experience in performance testing of electromechanical systems.
Preferred/Advantageous Skills:
- Knowledge of power electronics and circuit design.
- Experience with system modeling and simulation using MATLAB/Simulink or LabVIEW.
- Exposure to digital signal processing (DSP) and filter design.
- Familiarity with mechanical transmission systems, actuator specification, and industrial automation.
