About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced AI/ML Engineer with deep expertise in GCP, Vertex AI, and Generative AI. This role involves designing, building, and deploying large-scale AI/ML solutions, with a strong focus on search applications, LLMs, and advanced data-driven systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy large-scale AI/ML and data science solutions.
• Work with GCP (Vertex AI) to manage production workloads and pipelines.
• Experiment with and implement Generative AI models and components, including proprietary/custom LLMs, vector search, and fine-tuning.
• Develop and deploy low-latency search applications using hybrid search, re-ranking algorithms, and embeddings.
• Handle large volumes of structured and unstructured data for training and optimization.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure scalable, production-ready solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Python with strong use of SQL.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with GCP, Vertex AI, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning.
• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML/Data Science development and deployment.
• 3+ years working with large-scale data systems.
• 5+ years of experience in Python (SQL preferred).
• Proven knowledge of Generative AI and LLM components (custom deployments, fine-tuning, vector search).
• Experience building and deploying low-latency search applications.

Good-to-Have Skills

• 2+ years implementing production workloads on GCP.
• 1+ years developing search engine systems (hybrid search, re-ranking algorithms, embeddings).
