6 to 8 Years Relevant Experience

• 6-8 years working in a QA environment with a minimum of 3 Years handling Big data (Volume, Variety, Velocity) testing projects.
• Identify, isolate and report data defects, and verify the resultant changes to the data curation pipeline.
• Maintain and enhance existing automated data quality test tools to prevent regressions.
• Design and execute test scenarios, tools, and scripts to verify the quality of new curated data sets.
• Working with data engineers to make automated testing an integral, efficient and scalable part of the data curation pipeline.
• Work closely with the Data Product owner to understand each dataset, including expected formats and likely flaws and deficiencies.
• Monitor and document post-implementation problems and revision requests to ensure it meets end user needs.
• Experience in Cloud environment (Azure, AWS or GCP)Using serverless components ? Good in SQL query language.
• Notebooks in Databricks.
• Using Data warehouse on cloud (synapse, redshift, big query)? Unit testing in python (pytest).
• Validation testing.
• Simulation testing.
• Detailed knowledge of automated testing as part of a Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline (e.g. using Jenkins).
• Deep expertise in independently designing and executing complex test plans.
• Knowledge of cloud based automated test tools.
• Ability to comprehend complex data concepts.
• Knowledge and experience of working in agile environment.
• Experience of tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Commercial Business and Analytics in that environment is a must.
• Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects & requirements concurrently".
