Job Description

3 to 5 Years of Relevant Experience

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in Site Merchandising for an E-commerce company.
  • Bachelors Degree, preferably in Marketing or Sales.
  • Overall great understanding of relevant Site Merchandising domain specifics and processes.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of site merchandising required process fundamentals, concepts, and best-practices is essential.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Innovative and proactive approach.
  • Ability to coordinate work across multiple teams and geographies.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Ecommerce data management, data analysis and reporting skills Responsibilities.
  • Responsible for maintaining an Excel based content calendar. The calendar contains a wireframe for content.
  • Placements across MicrsoftStore.com and other .com properties. The Regional Site Merchandiser must add information about new website placements to be added and old placements to be removed.
  • The Site Merchandising team must plan the execution of the events/campaigns as per Content calendar. The Site merchandiser has to coordinate with multiple teams such as creative, category, site-ops etc. the creative team to get the content and place the content as per the instructions.
  • Quality check on Site merchandising activities will be highlighted by customer teams with TCS. TCS must investigate on errors and do RCA to ensure no similar errors happen in the future. For errors and/optimization.
  • Site Merchandising team in collaboration with other customer teams will Content Authoring build banners, pages, pricing updates and other tasks to the specification provided.
  • Resolve bugs found during the briefing process.
  • Be a part of promo planning calendar view with promotions and pricing laid out, he sites merchandising team will be part of the briefing plan on type of promotions and activities carried out by the team in collaboration with these services as a guide for business teams and ‘Regional Site Merchandisers’.
  • Promotion Prioritization: guidance is provided about which promotions are the highest priority during key selling periods. Site Merchandisers must do the Site Audit to ensure the customer journey is error-free. Report all the errors by raising relevant tickets and monitor the closure of the tickets.
  • Price Matching: Category Management will approve and share notifications when a price matches. Site Merchandisers have to review the promotions every day and make relevant changes received through the ADO and SWAT tools to execute Bundling of products, Price Strike-through, Buy M and get N attached etc.
  • Monitoring: The Demand Planning team provide tools and reports that inform partners teams including ‘Regional Site Merchandisers’ if stock for product ranges is low or depleted site merchandising team will receive a task through the ADO and SWAT tools to update the Category and Product pages.
  • Create Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly dashboards and attend the schedule.
